Jeweils 20 Minuten zu Fuß (mit Kinderwagen, also wirklich Schrotttempo) ist Richtung Süden der Strand erreichbar und Richtung Norden ein großer Supermarkt mit üppigem und durchaus günstigem Angebot. Zur Selbstversorgung mehr als ausreichend. Das Hotel hat Zimmer im Hauptgebäude sowie kleine einzelne Bungalows. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden, auch extra für E-Autos mit Lademöglichkeit. "Wat een prachtig hotel. Heel erg mooi ingericht met een duidelijke verwijzing naar de geschiedenis. Geweldig personeel. Enkelen van hen zijn het hospitality vak aan het leren en dat is alleen maar te prijzen omdat je ziet dat ze hun stinkende best doen. De keuken is op hoog culinair niveau. Echt een aanrader."
