"Check-in experience was great and the staff was friendly. Shower had the least amount of pressure we've ever experienced at a hotel of any sort. It also sprayed from all different angles, getting the bathroom floors wet. :( Although we tried to tighten the shower head, nothing seemed to help. Bedroom was spacious, clean, beds and pillows were comfortable. If we stayed again, I'd call ahead and make sure the shower in my room is going to be working better."

"My fiancé and I came and stayed for 2 nights while on a trip to universal studios. We got a season pass so we are trying to find a reliable hotel we can stay at whenever we come. Unfortunately our experience with the sojourn wasn’t great. For starters, the person who checked us in spoke like he didn’t want to be there or something I’m not sure, he just didn’t talk very professionally to us. Then, the room was okay, but not decorated the way they show in the photos, the only “retro” decor was a couple small pictures and two chairs. There is about a 2 inch gap under the front door, and the bathroom window didn’t lock or have a screen, it just slides open. Neither of our room keys worked after only one night. The shower was also extremely small. My fiancé is a plus size woman but she’s not huge, she’s about 260lbs, but she couldn’t comfortably shower in there shower. The toilet paper roll is also placed way too low and pushed against my leg the whole time I tried to use the bathroom and I ended up having to remove the roll to use it. There was also hardly any light in the room despite having multiple lamps and the walls were super thin. Just not a great stay overall."

"Our room was small but very clean and everything was in good working order. I am not a fan of road noise but by running the fan continuously, sound from the nearby freeway was mostly masked. Dennys and IHOP just across the freeway made for convenient breakfast options."
