"I really wanted to love Villa Rosa, but unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. The facilities and rooms feel dated, and my spa experience was the worst I’ve ever had. The spa locker room was extremely overcrowded with nowhere to change, use the restroom, or even get a locker. My purse had to be kept at the front desk. "We stayed at Crossroads Hotel at the beginning and end of our honeymoon, either side of our safari tour. It is very well located and easily accessible by taxi from the airport, and the rooms are very clean and well maintained. The staff were extremely accommodating and welcoming, giving us a complimentary upgrade and decorating the room with roses for our honeymoon - they really went above and beyond, doing far more than many of the much more expensive hotels we stayed at for our safari tour....

"My reservation was for a 1 bedroom.Got put into a 2 bedroom because the host falsely made available a 1 bedroom she did not have. I contact the host to inquire on an "extending my stay" through hotels.com again. The host does not respond. Rather, goes on insisting I must now move a different 1 bedroom unit after unpacking, having a fridge full of food that would need to be hauled to another floor of the building. She replies "I'm not doing you any favors" and starts sending messages in WhatsApp...

"We took so long to check in even we arrived at 8 pm the rooms weren’t ready we waited for almost one hour to check in .. there is a huge miscommunication between staff to the point that they sent the deputy manager and the security to my room to ask me to check out on the day before my checking out and he was insisting. The toilet smelled so bad as if they never maintenance the building"

"Excellent price for the place including breakfast. Biggest issue was there is no screen on the window and no netting so got bit all night long from mosquitos. Had to close the widow but with no AC or fan was very hot. Also killed two cockroaches."
