"Set in the quiet and bucolic Norfolk countryside, this is a lovely place to stay for a quiet retreat. We stayed in an en-suite cabin with two dogs, we were surrounded by woodland and looked out over a lake, of which there are a few within the site. Alongside the great views, we had a comfortable bed, tea and coffee facilities and a clean and modern en-suite. "First thing we saw on entering the room were several quite big green (ink?) stains on the carpet. A lovely big bed but only 2 small pillows, so had to ask for more. The room was very hot and although we found a fan it didn’t get below 26 degrees the 3 nights we were there, outside not over 22 degrees in the day! We went to the Restaurant our first night and waited 30 mins for a drink. The food was not good and loud party of golfers drove us to the bar. Not much better so took wine to our room....

"I booked a garden room which I thought should look over the garden but it didn’t it look over a wall one way and a back yard the other right next to the laundry room all you could hear was the washing machines and dryer. It was a same was a garden room at all. The pool was very cold."

"Clean room, good car park - would stay again. Only criticism was that the superior room I was upgraded to had 2 beds stuck together, which was a bit uncomfortable to sleep on."
