"Booked and paid for a double room 5 weeks in advance. At check-in, after waiting for staff to check multiple rooms it was discovered there were no double rooms available. I was then told I would be given a single with a roll away cot….but after more waiting, we found out there were no cots available. The desk person finally called the manager, who said the best they could do for me was 50% off of a second room. What a deal! 50% off of a room I should not have to pay for in the first place....

"The king bed was super comfortable! The room was pretty great except for a couple things. The bathroom door is like a rolling slide door. It does not seal and there are huge gaps. "This hotel is our favorite when we stay in Colonial Heights. The staff is friendly, cheerful, knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. The room was spotless inside and the hallway was immaculate. The outside is well maintained. The only comment that is negative was that you pay to park there which just started. I was disappointed to have an additional charge of parking.
