Westport hotel guide. Extended Stay America hotel in Westport, Connecticut

"The staff that answered the phone prior to our arrival were somewhat rude when we inquired about a fee that was not listed in our reservation details. Simple question was asked with a cold, stern response. Front desk young man was very kind when he welcomed us. When we approached our room the door was open which was odd. The bar for hanging clothes was on the entry way table with all of the plastic hangers scattered next to it. It smelled like chinese food as if someone had just ate in the room. Linen was not as comfortable as I would prefer. TV was old and all of kids channels didnt have sound which was frustrated; we have a 4yr old. We didnt eat at the restaurant there but there are plenty of food spots in the area. Overall it wasnt bad just small issues that could be improved on. "

"This is a conference hotel that is old and dated. Sadly it’s not to the 2026 standards anymore. I would not stay there anymore. And conference should think of moving to another hotel."

"I put a note in my RSVP that I would arrive early and need to check in to get ready for a party we had at 2pm. At check in we waiting about 15 min until the one employee showed up to check us in. We were really annoyed at this point but he checked us in and gave us keys right away, well before check in time. I appreciated that and for this reason our stay was great!"
