"Had a lovely four -night stay at the Norwalk Inn and Conference Center.
The front desk was wonderful and obviously trained in attentive customer service.
The room with two queen sized beds was very clean ,up to date ,and decorated in what I would call a colonial style. The room had everything one could need including a refrigerator ,a microwave ,and a Keurig coffee maker. The air conditioning worked very well and ,of particular note, did not blow directly on the desk or the beds. While small, the bathroom was new and clean with abundant hot water and nice toiletries. I particularly appreciated the grab bar that was available in the shower. There was no safe in the room, and so I did not have housekeeping come ,although they are willing to come daily. I just got my new coffee pods at the front desk. The ice machine is located on the lobby floor ,away from people who are trying to sleep. There is an outdoor salt -water pool, which I did not try; It only costs $8 for your entire stay for the pool and pool towels. I am told it is refreshing in June and very warm in August as the water is heated only by the sun. There is plenty of parking even when they are having a conference. There is a lovely neighborhood of homes just adjacent to the Inn where one can take safe morning or evening walks. The Inn is less than half a mile from Stew Leonards, a famous grocery store. It is also convenient to I-95 and the Merritt Parkway. Felt very safe , and the room door had a steel bolt ."
