Ina was a lovely host. The house is beautiful, and the shower much appreciated after a long day. Sheep grazing out the window, home-baked scones for breakfast. Just lovely.

Stayed at Lurgan house before excellent then still high standards now. Arrived in the afternoon Ina dropped us into town could have walked in its about 25 mins but there were heavy showers falling. Beautiful breakfast . Would highly recommend. Maura Willie

Ideally located for exploring the West Coast.

A friendly and comfortable B&B in Westport.

A wonderful experience in a very comfortable, friendly and quiet B&B. It was a lovely two nights, with an easy walk into Westport for dinner. The breakfast was comprehensive with a range of options cooked fresh daily. The scones were exceptional, don’t forget to ask for them when you stay! The owners Ena and Gerard couldn’t do enough for us during our stay. They checked in with us regularly, offering suggestions on sites to visit, restaurants and other destinations. Our experience was excellent and we would strongly recommend Lurgan House.

The Lurgan B&B was excellent. Ena, the host, was charming and helpful. The room was large, the bed comfortable and breakfast excellent. I would heartily recommend. Only point to note that the B&B is located approx 15 minutes walk away from downtown. It was not an issue for us - we walked home late at night without any issue.

100 euros was an exceptionnal price according to hotels.com. After one week in Ireland, this B&B is quite expensive to what we had. They formerly gave us a room but the separate bathroom not en suite. Besides, we were hardly welcomed with basic info. Third, we had gastric problems after a average full irish breakfast. Be aware...

Comfortable stay in rural area

Lurgan House Westport is a place you would be more than happy to return to. A very hospitable check in, with coffee and apple tart. We were shown to our room which was large and bright. The shower room is small. A comfy chair in the room would be a welcome addition. The TV and tea making facility are good. Breakfast was excellent. The parking area is good. We found the stairs steep so if returning would request the downstairs bed room.
