"Our 2nd stay for our return journey home. Love this hotel for its friendliness, hospitality and comfort. The Christmas decorations are fabulous and make it extra special. I have one gripe… Seafood Chowder, should include shellfish and smoked fish to which I was disappointed with as it only had white fish. Just call it fish soup."

"I can not say enough about Wilton castle. It was amazing staying in the self contained suites. There was a fire place in the suite that was prepared and ready to go everyday. The property itself is amazing, at one point in our stay we were the on people there. Pretty unrealistic staying on a property like this by yourself. "Lovely hotel, the staff were all friendly and courteous, beautiful room with river view, balcony and very comfy sitting area. Great breakfast, the food in dry dock bar was also lovely. The pool was great too. A really peaceful stay, would highly recommend it. Even with vents on it wasn't too noisy. "

"We stayed in the cabin in the back which was…. Absolutely adorable and as pictured. I would highly recommend to communicate with the host ahead of time, because while the contact phone number is listed at multiple points on the property, it can be difficult for a traveler without phone service. I was traveling from another country and had data only, I was fortunate to have a local person lend me their phone so I could check in that first evening. That is my only advice for anyone wanting to stay...
