"Lovely property and stay. Staff were helpful when needed. I didn't use the facilities; bar and dining so cannot comment on that but everywhere was very clean. No air con but there are fans available if needed."

"We booked a room that was advertised as a double room, but after checking in, we discovered that the bed was far too small to be considered a standard double. It was more like a slightly wider single bed, and two average-sized adults could barely fit on it. I raised the issue with the reception, but the only response I received was an apology and that the hotel was fully booked, so there was nothing they could do. Unfortunately, every other hotel in the area was also fully booked, leaving us...

"Disappointing. On arrival to the room, there was a distinct musty smell. Not pleasant and still present after opening the windows. No WiFi in the room. Breakfast was almost non existent. For a pub/hotel that promotes its food service and quality, a couple of boxes of cereal and a few miniature pastries was not what was expected or advised. A cooked choice would be expected (and was advertised)"

"The room was clean & the breakfast was very good. But we were in the annexe which is a long walk from the reception. When I asked where the room was, the person at reception just waved vaguely to the right & said ‘it’s down there’. My husband & I are mobile & fine with walking, but we were hauling our suitcases a long way, so be warned of that. There is extra parking there, but we weren’t made aware of that. "It’s a lovely authentic pub in a small village, with a big courtyard and outdoor tables with parasols. The rooms are on the opposite side of the courtyard to the pub and are spacious and clean but very warm, even with the windows open and fans. We have stayed here 2 years running for the F1 as it’s very handy for the park and ride. I recommend staying here. The staff are very pleasant and helpful and the pub food is delicious."
