"The property is new and modern and a lovely place to stay long or short term. It is worth noting that there is only street parking or paid undercover parking around the corner. There is construction on the building next door and if your room faces the street it can be quite noisy all hours of the night. "Fantastic stay for a relaxed holliday with daily excursions arround Capetown. We appreciated, the very nice hospitallity, breakfasts and also the house incl. areas for reading, sun tanning at the pool. High comfort beds! Easy to access by car incl. parking. "

"Hotel reception is on the first floor of the building, which is served by a lift or you can easily walk up a flight of stairs (if you do not have heavy things to carry). First impression of Habitat is that it is modern and clean. My room was on the same floor as the reception and breakfast area. Initially thinking that it would be noisy but it wasn't. The room had all for a 3 night stay: kitchenette, fan, A/C, iron and a good shower. The bathroom handle however was broken, which apparently the...

"Room wasn’t cleaned. North room that was advertised. Very loud rude people and no outlets in the room. Very much a prison cell"

"Clean and spacious room, with a full kitchen (although I didn't use). A complimentary bottle of wine upon checking in, as well as 2 bottles of water daily are provided, which is a very nice gesture. One drawback: the wall outlets are generally not suitable for most international travelers, but it should be easy to borrow an adapter from the front desk. Breakfast is decent, and the Chinese/Japanese restaurant at the hotel is pretty good. Other than that, one needs to go a bit farther distance...

"Spacious & clean room in a beautifully restored building. Staff very pleasant & helpful. Breakfast selection was adequate. Dined in the restaurant for dinner which was excellent. Only negative is the location, a bit far away from V&A waterfront & mall out the front of hotel felt a little unsafe at times."

"The unit was very clean and spacious. We were visiting for the marathon so it was great to have our own kitchen. Grocery store was only a 5 min walk away and the shuttle to the race start was only a 2 min walk. Security guards at the entrance to the hotel so safe. You do need to be street smart as soon as you exit the hotel and walking towards the train station area is more prone to cell phone theft and begging. Just be smart. We were able to walk to hop-on-hop-off bus start in 10 mins."
