"Clean room, antique historic Vt hotel. Not overly renovated, so you get it’s original feel."

"We had an unplanned stop at the Fireside because of a winter storm made for dangerous travel. We felt like we walked into a Hallmark movie. There was a cozy fire going and complimentary hot beverages. The rooms were average but everything else was great. Nice bar for stranded travelers to meet up at and great breakfast in a nicely decorated room."

"We had such a great stay! The room and entire property were very clean, which made us feel comfortable right away. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit.
The included breakfast was a huge plus - lots of options and everything was delicious. We also loved the free ski/snowboard locker, which made getting ready for the mountain super easy. The complimentary shuttle to the mountain was amazing and so convenient, taking all the stress out of transportation and parking....
