"Rooms were great with water filling stations on every floor. Location was amazing and we were able to walk to many amazing locations easily such as the museum, Queen Street mall and waterfront resturants. Staff were friendly and helpful with questions. Would recommend to friends and family."

"We had just an overnight stay but was pleasantly surprised by this motel. Although an older property is was pristine and beautifully presented and very clean. Very friendly staff and we appreciated the communication and warm welcome. Perfectly located on the main road into Brisbane City but private with easy side road access and car parking. Great value! "The Star is amazing, the Receptionist was very nice and helpful, we left our car with the concierge, and the car was waiting for us next morning without us having to make a phone call very impressive, breakfast was delicious and the staff very helpful and attentive, our room was amazing,clean with great Air conditioning so many features to take in on opening the door curtains opened and lights came on. Staff friendly and all in all the Star is a ten out of ten, we are planning our next stay...

Staff and valets are always nice and helpful. The rooms could use a little more polish on the fixtures and fittings but doesn't detract overall. Recommend for families and will visit again. "
