"We had a great stay here! We came into town for a dance competition. The staff was super friendly! The bathrooms could use updating, but were super clean. The only thing we had a small issue with is that the king suite says it sleeps 5, but truly only sleeps 4 (1 king bed, 1 sofa bed). Definitely would stay here again. It was amazing!"

"If you are planning on sleeping, make sure to ask for a room in the back of the building. Room was very clean, but the traffic noise was awful."

"I needed an inexpensive, but comfortable room for a few days. Athena satisfied all my requirements and exceeded expectations with daily room service and premium TV offerings. I have stayed at Athena several times and have returned because it is economical and provides good basic accommodations."

"The rooms were extremely clean. One room was roomy, one was a regular hotel room. Microwaves and frig in the rooms are nice. The man I talked to on the phone before I arrived to make sure one room was on the ground floor for my handicapped sister was very helpful and courteous. He went out of his way to help me. The man who checked me in was not very friendly, but he was ok. I think he was new. But he was ok. The woman who checked me out of the first room was nice. I felt safe at the hotel...

"Had one of the best life experiences. With reservation and after a long day, we arrived almost at midnight to check in. Around 10 were next to the building’s door drinking, smoking and had high volume music. At check in, we were told the room was dirty, the receptionist was kind to drop tasks, grabbed a mop and went to get it cleaned. Waiting, we met a cop that was excited to have a side hustle providing security to the hotel. He explained the people outside had no place to live, therefore lived...

"Very cost efficient and the beds appeared to be clean but the head of the bed is lower than the foot making it awkward. For the price everything was really decent. Floors needed more cleaning! "

"Room had a stopped sink, and shower faucet pulled out of wall…comforter on bed had multiple holes. Otherwise, clean and staff very nice and helpful!"

"Nicely remodeled old motel with everything updated. Has a bar/restaurant adjacent with good food. The staff was fine though I think being a later check in tripped them up a bit. "

"The new owner was too busy trying to take care of everything. No place in room to hang clothes. Room has coffee maker but no cups. I spent 3 nights with no extra towels. The main lobby said open but door was locked. Mr packs needs to renovate 1st then open."

"I loved the size of the unit that we stayed in, especially with kids. So much more roomy than a normal hotel room. Also, really enjoyed the courtyard area. It was nice to sit by the fire pit and relax while the kids played. Only thing I was not a fan of was the beds. Our beds were a bit broken down. Overall, though it was a great stay!"
