The front has lawn care items layimg against the building. The door behind the service desk is ooen an items piled here and there. The broom be standing dust pan against the wall in site behind the counter. Not enough chairs at the high top dinning area. Only two 4 missing. First night we stayed the damages I’m the bathroom door and wall were not repaired with care. Wrong color paint splitter on the area where the door was deeply scratched. Second shift desk clerk was very lazy and spoke about himself instead of service with a smile not well kept. He has, “poor me”, syndrome. The a.m. clerk, blonde hair, sat behind the desk holding her little dog. She would let the dog roam in the breakfast area unleashed she was unkept. Seriously ridiculous. This was our experience on check in June 29th departure 30th. Our return trip July 5th and 6th was great. The breakfast host was great both visits. The check in clerk friendly and well kept on our arrival and another at our departure was very kind.

We checked in around 930 pm and asked for a late check out at noon. The front desk said no issue and wrote it down on a notepad. The next day house keeping knocked and barged right in at 11:15 am. We said we asked for a late check out and she said what time and that she did not know. Told her noon and she left. We checked out 11:45 and the guy at the front desk was very rude. Told me he had no idea. I told him that the night front desk wrote it down and he looked through the sticky notes like I was lying. I said do you need anything else and he said nope. I said thank you and he said nothing. Will not stay again at this hotel and we had just left a Holiday Inn Express in Arlington TX and headed to another in Abilene KS the next night.

i did not research this before booking as the holiday inn is usually fine. the location was sketchy. A gentleman that had been staying there let me know just a few days ago several cars were broke in to and releaved of their personal belonging. thisis un acceptable for the cost of a room at this establishment.
