"Clean and nice place"

"We didn't receive the code needed to get in and had to phone after arriving in Iceland (they didn't respond to my messages on Expedia). Things were missing from the suite including the kettle, bowls, mugs, hairdryer and a picture from the wall. We phoned and somebody brought replacements. We stayed for 7 nights in June/July. We only had 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel each, but I emailed asking for more and they were delivered the following day. The suites are well located for restaurants and...

"Prices in Iceland are high. This was comparable. Nicely appointed. Clean and comfortable room. Liked the kitchenette. Plates and settings. Microwave and refrigerator. Pictures did not represent the room. Nicer! Restaurant was very good! Family enjoyed the food- prices again are high in Iceland but well thought out ingredients and taste. Comparable pricing. Big drink selection. Caution. No elevator. 3 flights of stairs."

Not only did we not get a balcony, we got a ground floor apartment on the path that visitors went by to a nearby entrance so that they could look through our window and glass door. "If I ever go back to Reykjavik, I will most likely stay here again. They thought of everything. Our room was compact, but it had everything we needed, and the little kitchenette was a lifesaver, equipped with all the essentials for prepping and cooking: cutlery, a toaster, and even a Nespresso machine with coffee. "It was easy to get to the property and instructions to access the apartment were clear. Apartment was very clean and kitchen was well appointed. My personal dislikes, and these may not matter to others, were the inability to control the apartment temperature (for me it was too hot) and unclear information regarding parking and parking costs. It really was a pleasant stay."

"Unfortunately, it seems that all hotels are pricey in Iceland. This one is no exception. However, the property is lovely, spacious, nicely appointed and in a perfect location. The only inconvenience was the noise on the street which prevented us from keeping the window open all night."
