"Sehr schöne alte Klosteranlage. Alles sauber. Personal nett. Kleine startschwierigkeiten gab es mit der Klimaanlage. Konnte aber schnell gelöst werden. Frühstück war gut. Von allem was dabei."

"We couldn’t say enough about our stay! The grounds were beautiful, the rooms were very clean with a great Italian flare. There is lots of history to the property that we enjoyed. We loved our wine tour, and Thomas was extremely knowledgable and friendly throughout our experience. The resort was quiet and peaceful, with only a 20minute taxi to Florence we were still able to explore the nearby city. The front desk was extremely helpful and every worker went above and beyond. "We stayed in Castillo for 5 days and we like it a lot. There was a good combination of medieval castle vibe and modern comfort. Although we’re mostly driving around exploring vineyards and small towns, we enjoyed the Castillo property, swimming pool and beautiful nature."

And all of the buildings had been beautifully restored to return it to originally and feel, but to include all the modern amenities. "Such a wonderful stay at Hotel La Fontanelle! A one stop destination to fully relax and enjoy. A beautiful property, lovely staff especially Carlo! From the pool, to the restaurants, to the winery on property we didn’t feel we had to leave all weekend! The guest relations team helped organize a hot air balloon ride over Chianti! It was a magical weekend! We will definitely be back."
