Waking up beside my girlfriend to the soft morning light and the sound of nature just outside our balcony was something special. We spent slow mornings sipping tea with a view that didn’t feel real, and unhurried afternoons exploring the grounds, finding little pockets of beauty everywhere, hidden gardens, serene pools, and perfect spots to just sit together and exist. What made it unforgettable wasn’t just the luxury (though everything—from the room to the food—was exceptional), but how easy it was to feel connected. Whether we were sharing quiet dinners at CARVE meatery, or laughing over nothing in particular, the resort created a space where time slowed down and everything else faded away. If you’re looking for a place to reconnect, celebrate love, or simply escape the noise of everyday life with someone who matters deeply to you, this is it. We left with full hearts, incredible memories, and already talking about when we can come back."

"It was fully equipped to be self-contained, which is good because there's nothing else close-by for meals. The "chalets" were unique and fun to try for a couple nights. We booked it as a way to see the more rustic northern part of Vancouver Island. Staff was really nice."

"Very good on site restaurant and another just a two minute walk away. Easy to get in and out of parking area. Did not use the breakfast offered as there was a large group staying at the time and we chose not to join the fray. "

"hot breakfast was bare minimum, avg. sausage, scrambled egg(ish?) and potato. toast, waffle, juice and coffee. none of the handy continental breakfast staples like fresh fruit, muffins, yogurt,and all the usual items. ie, nothing you could take out with you to maybe enjoy later or in your room. you can order off the menu for a discount, but now your paying for something that's basically supposed to be included. We thought this room was on the high side for what is a very basic room. This property is about to be branded a Best Western we were told. If the prices go up, which is probably likely, it will fall out of our value picks."

"The rooms bed was not clean, under the pillows there was hair. Other than that it was a good stay. They wanted to give me a free meal on my next stay, but being from Newfoundland i will be a long time before returning. "

"Room service was absolutely wonderful. They even plugged in my headphones because I had them laying there and they were fully charged when I got back to the hotel staff was really lovely and very helpful in the hotel room was very nice and up to great standards"
