I booked this property based on its Expedia listing, VIP Access designation, and positive reviews, expecting a relaxing resort-style getaway. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of what was advertised.
Upon arrival, our taxi dropped us on the side of a highway. There was no visible resort signage, reception area, or staff on site. The property appeared to be secured behind large metal gates, giving the initial impression of a private or industrial space rather than a resort. Despite arriving before 5 p.m., there was no staff present. Instead, we received emailed instructions on how to unlock the gate and access the room.
The room itself was clean but clearly dated. While cleanliness is appreciated, this property does not meet any reasonable definition of a “resort.”
The surrounding area was also a major concern. The property is located directly on a busy highway near the airport, with no safe pedestrian access. Dining options were extremely limited—one small restaurant immediately outside the gate and another across the highway that was not safely accessible on foot. Overall, the location felt isolated and inconvenient.
Due to these issues, we decided to leave shortly after arrival and requested a refund. Despite staying less than an hour and booking a full week, our refund request was denied.
This listing is misleading and does not align with the expectations set by its marketing. We ultimately relocated to an actual hotel.
