Loved this place. Beautiful, quiet and will definitely come back and recommend. Thank you so much!!
Absolutely loved this spot! I loved it so much I kind of want it to remain more of a secret! It is a glamping/luxury eco friendly experience off the beaten path and so gorgeous with 360 panoramic views! Would absolutely book again.
Room and area were very nice, sunsets fantastic. Could read a book super relaxed during the day and go for a run early in the morning when the temperatures were still pleasantly cool. Grand Canyon South Rim nearby. Be sure to stop by the nearby Rocks-and-more shop.
You definitely need a car with high clearance and all or 4WD. The roads are rough, so plan to take it slow. High Grove Road is worse than a washboard. I actually prefer the dips and ruts of the other roads, lol.
Space is great. Quite, lots of stars. Ended up being there in a snow storm and it was the perfect excuse to curl up on the couch, with the wood stove blazing and a book.
Exactly what I wanted. Wished I had had longer to stay there.
I was nervous to book here because there weren’t a lot of reviews but I truly now consider this a hidden gem. I wanted to hike the grand canyon but all the hotels in and around there were either too expensive or appeared outdated. I’m so grad I booked here. It’s a 45 min drive from the south rim. The property is beautiful and isolated. It’s well kept. I killed a few moths but was honestly surprised how minimal bugs there were.
The inside is just as advertised. As for temperature it was easy to adjust the AC and the water did get hot which I was concerned about.
Overall I have no complaints. Excellent experience. It isn’t a scam! Just a beautiful, underrated site.
The stay was very nice. It wasn't quite clear how long of a walk (with luggage) it would be from the parking to the casita but other than that we had a lovely stay
This casita was the perfect getaway for my first solo trip to the Grand Canyon. The hosts were very communicative and the casita was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the town. I thoroughly enjoyed the sunset views from the patio and bedroom view.
Follow the advice of the owners and travel during the daylight to get here. The roads are all dirt, gravel, and very bumpy. You have to have AWD, be prepared to drive slow, and keep your tires in the right location in the tracks. Once you eventually get there, it is a beautiful setting and the room was very clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed waking up to the peace and quiet of the desert. The amenities inside were wonderful! Appreciated the water in the fridge and all the small touches. Would definitely recommend the stay! The journey there is the only challenge, but it’s worth it.
