"Our one-night stay was okay, but less than perfect due to the proximity of the hotel to the freeway. In the early morning (4:30 AM), the rumble of trucks was unavoidable. Perhaps it would have been better on the opposite side of the hotel."

"Our room had floor boards coming up and splitting, so they were a tripping hazard. Walking on the floor made your feet filthy. Our shower was Jimmy rigged to work, which was better than not working at all I guess. It had no storage for anything except a tiny shelf for soap so everything had to be on the floor and the door didnt latch so it was hard to keep closed. Broken drawers in the bathroom cabinet made them unfunctional. It didnt really seem very clean at all. Pool was unfortunately closed...

"First room we tried was a first floor room and I couldn’t even walk in the room. It smelled like a wet basement of mold. Second room we were given was ok. Blankets were uncomfortable. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was sub par."

"The place is nice and away from the city. The place is very rustic and cozy, great if you are looking for something that gets you away from technology. Rooms don’t have a tv and the internet is a little slow, but the grounds are beautiful. Come early for the wine, the bar closes early and staff isn’t around after it closes."
