"Overall, we had a great stay at Kingsmill Resort. This was actually our second visit because our first experience here was amazing, and that’s what brought us back. The property itself is beautiful, the amenities are excellent, and it’s a fantastic place for families. The pools, activities, and overall atmosphere make it a wonderful destination, and our children had a great time. Unfortunately, this visit was impacted by service issues. Most of the staff we interacted with were friendly and welcoming, but we had a couple of disappointing experiences, particularly at the River Pool, where the interactions were not what we expected from a resort of this quality. The biggest concern was housekeeping. During our entire five-night stay, our room was never serviced. Housekeeping only arrived on our last day as we were preparing to leave, at which point the service was no longer useful. Calls to reception didn’t help much, as we were told housekeeping operates separately and they couldn’t control when service would be provided. We were also promised callbacks that never came. As a repeat guest who was even considering a membership, this was disappointing. Kingsmill has everything needed to be a top-tier resort. If the service can match the quality of the property and amenities, it would easily be a 10/10 experience."
