"Could not process credit cards the first evening. Restaurant closed. Guest washing machine out of order. 3 night stay but housekeeping never made a single appearance. Ran out of towels and facial tissue. Water and tea/coffee never replenished. Key cards deactivated on second night of stay. Bathtub could not be used. No stopper. Shower curtain too short. Water everywhere. Overall clean and quiet but very disappointed. Free onsite parking was the only bonus."

The Hoxton pays attention to details and adds the extras that elevate a stay -- water bottle fill stations on every floor, coffee bar in the hotel, quick early breakfast delivered to the room for those rushing out. The downside was the AC did not work in our room, the fridge did not cool in our friends' room, and a room flooded into the hall, so some maintenance...
