Though the property is beautifully located and all rooms have an ocean view, many other elements were unsatisfactory. This is off season and noone in the lobby, but check in was so slow. Hot Tub was down. Went to stay for one night only but was awakened by workers on scaffolding outside my window at 7am. Staff were not very professional and only made excuses, not accommodations, for the inconveniences. This is mid-March and temperature is 59', therefore they should be happy they have a customer.

The View is amazing!!!! Totally worth it! My only downside, The check in process could have been a lot quicker. It’s a nice cute oceanfront stay and has the sea chanty beach look and is very spacious. For those looking for super contemporary and clean looks, this might not be for you. But if you’re the kind of person that likes beach bungalow vibes, gorgeous views and a quiet beach, this is the hotel for you.

Each unit has a fabulous newly renovated and beautifully stocked and decorated one bedroom unit with kitchen, dining anrea and living room with large tv. The best part is that each unit anlso has ann ocean front view and balcony. The ocean is so close, you can hear the waves. There is easy access from the resort to the beach which is long, flat and wide, perfect for long walks along the shoreline. The resort offers beach chair rentals and umbrellas. There are two pools, one indoors and one outdoors which is heated. There is a casual cafe which is not always open, so don’t rely on dining there. This resort has come a long way and is promising to be one of the outstanding beach rentals in Wrightsville Beach.

They are remodeling so there is hope maybe. However the rooms need a deal clean desperately, the beds are extremely uncomfortable with very old mattress and pillows, flat, springlike, not pleasent to lay on. The bedding covers are minimal at best, not comfortable or even enough. There was barely enough to make the couch bed and we had to beg for pillows to replace the old flat with and the new ones were no better. We didn’t have but three towels in our room with two bathrooms and 5 people. The young man at the desk was clearly irritated we asked for more or for pillows. He was not friendly ever. Entire front staff never speaks unless you walk right you to them and speak first. No greetings or smiles. We had a huge discount for staying here during remodel which we barely even noticed but I would never stay here again for a lower rate much less a normal rate. Not a good experience over all. To top it off one elevator stopped working and we used the steps most of the time and then the hot tub stopped working the second day which was one reason we stay here in cool weather to have the hot tub. It was nasty anyway. Don’t stay here till they have new staff, bedding and finished with the remodel so maybe they will focus on normal cleaning.

Various parts of the building were under renewal construction but perhaps will be completed by summer. The room was fine for a single night but small for a longer stay. The property is located on the north end of the island which is less congested than further south. All in all, the resort was priced appropriately but shouldn’t be considered a high end resort.

This place was great. The ocean view, even from the 3rd floor, was fantastic. You can watch the sun rise from the sofa and watch it set from the hall/balcony. We stayed in unit 303 which had a full bath with shower/sink/toilet and a half bath with a toilet and a sink in a separate area which was neat. We ate out each night and didn't cook in the room, but it had a stove, a small fridge, a coffee maker (with coffee/filters) and a microwave. The place isn't brand new, but well kept. Probably only complaint is the mattresses needed updating (they have some miles on them), but that might drop the score to 9.5/10, if that. Give this place a go...you won't be disappointed. Also being at the north end of Wrightsville Beach (end of US 74), it seems like the traffic is a lot lighter than in the central part of the island which is nice. They also have a parking garage which was a nice touch on an island where parking is a premium. We'll be going back for sure.

The room was in great condition and the staff was courteous. On the not so good side, I will mention lack of tea and facial tissue in the room. Also, free coffee was not provided in the lobby except when the restaurant was not working on Sundays and Mondays.

Just not the place to stay in the dead of winter. Rooms all face outside like a motel. Staff was kind but minimal. Hot tub jets were broken. The one lamp in the bedroom room (no overhead light or fan) was broken but replaced quickly when reported.

The view is the best part of the stay. The staff was unpleasant. The room was last remodeled in 1994. Think thrifted furniture. Couch was stained. Lamps that were not plugged in or near a plug. Bed super comfy. Very no frills hotel with no real amenity worth the stay...

Staff was great and the room was clean, however- the bed was detached from the head board making it impossible to sleep, toilet paper was not only rough feeling like sandpaper, but also kept falling off the holder. The way the bedroom was set up you couldn’t even watch the tv at night.

Not great experience. Staff was not helpful with double charge of resort fee. Loud construction during stay. Restaurant and bar closed due to painting. Convenience store on site had barely anything in it. Hot tub jets weren’t working.
