"Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy. There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. During our stay there was a film set in place for Father Brown and a restriction at the end of the road. It didn’t take away from our stay, but was glad of the premier inn parking just a 100m away. "The property looked like a castle! It was outside of town and very secluded yet easy to get there. We actually stayed in apartments next to the main house which were very large (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a washing machine in our unit). The beds were very comfortable as well. You can tell that they were renovating, because a couple things did not work (a key, the phone) and a piece of wood under the sink fell off on its own. They were all extremely kind and professional, though; we felt extra taken care of by the manager who brought us deserts making us very happy that evening! The breakfast was fantastic, and the person in charge of seating us and taking care of us was the kindest ever. He went above and beyond! We would definitely stay here again!"
