The inside of our room was very comfortable, the staff left a few complementary drinks and snack in the room for us which was very much appreciated. "The Red Ranch Inn is an older style motel from back in the day when the Catskills were the place to vacation. The motel has been updated and the property is well kept. I would have preferred a room towards the back of the property but had a room closest to Rt. 32 and the noise of the traffic. The pool was inviting but didn't get to try it out. "The entire place smelled like marijuana, cigarette smoke, or fragrance to try and cover up the other smells. They are using the hotel for over flow of section 8 housing so there are homeless people all around the property and in the hotel. There were people doing drugs outside the hotel and no staff member did anything about it. I did not stay and asked for a refund where the staff was very dismissive. "Everything about this stay was excellent! At check in Adriana made sure we had everything we needed and gave great recommendations for the area. The food at Dandies was so great that we ate there two out of the three nights of our stay. At the Dandies bar, Jaime and Andre were fun to talk to and very attentive. Room was spotless and decor was perfection. Grounds were gorgeous. Cannot wait to stay again!"
