Hotel La Rose

"This is my second time staying here. Its a lovely historic hotel with lots of character, centrally located near downtown Santa Rosa. Having an attached bar/restaurant is convenient. Staying here feels like a trip back in time, in a good way!! Very clean rooms and comfortable beds!! The AC kept the room at a comfortable temp without being noisy. Possibly haunted, though I didnt experience anything on either of my stays, haha."

"Screen could be opened on window... Chemicals rather than tiny sealed milk for coffee. Checkin at 4pm. Why not 7 or 9pm at night? Many places offer checkout at noon and checkin at 2. Your checkout is 11. A five-hour window? Basically a good motel 6, with a decent breakfast (that is, eggs and sausages). Best is being near the Denny's that I tried for the first time in decades and had wild salmon for $13.39 (on 55+ menu)."

"Toilet, didn’t flush very well, the Friday morning staff at the towel section was SUPER RUDE to me, I only asked for a QR code to order food and the guy that was running the towel section was so rude I almost asked for a refund. Max was our pool boy and he was the best of the best, give that man a raise!"

"Breakfast was good with many options. We wanted to use the hot tub on Saturday morning but there weren’t any towels out there and the jets wouldn’t turn on. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and the hotel was nice and clean."
