Comfort Inn University

8/10 Good

"Front desk staff and the gentleman tending the breakfast were excellent, warm and efficient. Only one of the two elevators was operating, so I took the stairs many times. My key stopped working twice, but was quickly remedied."

Hotel Ballast Wilmington, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

8/10 Good

"The rooms were rather small but they were very clean. The staff at the front desk was very helpful. The toilet ran all night long which I had to tell them about in the morning and we had to have maintenance come upstairs to unstop the sink. Also the heat did not work at all."

Hotel Lela Wilmington, Tapestry Collection By Hilton

8/10 Good

"The hotel is convenient to the airport, some of the towels and linens are getting old and the carpets on the halls and rooms are dusty. The rooms have a strong chemical smell that doesn’t mask the odor coming from the carpet in the room, it’s rather unpleasant. AC is loud and kicks in constantly. Staff is professional and courteous. Parking is free. This property needs to have their carpets deep cleaned and maybe tone down their heavy fragrance cleaners."

Embassy Suites by Hilton Wilmington Riverfront

10/10 Excellent

"Everyone working in the building were top-notch professional and willing to go that extra mile to assist and take care of our needs. The room with a river view was laid out with a small sitting area, king bed and huge bathroom. The shower was especially nice and easy to regulate without having to stand inside and get too hot or cold while trying to figure it out. The daily 5:30 - 7:30 ‘happy hour’ with two free drinks per person and very nice appetizers was GREAT. Breakfast was included and a chef fixes your omelet to order even while there is a full buffet offered. The in-house restaurant was as good as any restaurant in downtown Wilmington, NC. that’s all I need to say."
