"Bath Priory is situated on beautiful grounds and gardens, loved the greenery and flowers. Our suite was very nice, two large rooms and a full bathroom. On arrival our room was not ready and we were brought to the bar for a complementary drink. We waited 45 minutes for a bar/restaurant member to even acknowledge us although the walked by us almost every minute. Not even a greeting. This level of service was common for the restaurant. "Rooms were clean, well appointed and were massive. The wardrobe being situated in the bathroom is a little odd. The parking is charged at £13 per night so quite pricey. Breakfast good, bar area nice. Staff very friendly and helpful."

"The hotel itself is excellent - great location and architecture. The cool atmosphere and aircon were welcoming on the hottest June day ever recorded in Cardiff! The facilities were great - including bedroom, bar and pool / spa. A couple of disappointments though. Guaranteed check-in from 3p.m. We arrived at 2.15 so went to the bar to wait. "Excellent Hotel, well-located next to Cardiff Castle, parks, shopping areas, etc. Clean and well cared for. Reception staff went out of their way to be helpful (we had a complex booking because we were working around a concert bundle stay, with a booking before, and a booking after the concert date) and to make sure we had continuity in the room we stayed in and simplified things as much as possible to make it relatively seemless.
