I am so sorry to hear that you had trouble finding your unit. We have had our directions written down for quite a few years now but it never hurts to check into it again. I do not recall talking with anyone about the waffle maker not working I will check with the staff to see what was going on while you were here. It is a pretty straight forward machine thankfully! We rotate our breakfast daily with all homemade items. I am sorry it was not what you were expecting. We really try to have something for everyone!

Sam, Thank you for taking the time to write your experience. I would really like to know what was not clean upon your arrival and what you felt was rundown. We check all arrival rooms to make sure they are good to go so I do apologize that you found spiders in your room. I am not making excuses but as it gets colder they do tend to find their way to where it is warmer. Your room is right next to an entrance/exit. I am wondering if that is what you are referring to when you say it is loud. The waffle maker created a lot of smoke because someone unfortunately put the temperature at the very max and as soon as it was left for even a small amount of time it started burning due to it being so hot. We have resolved this issue and I am very sorry that you were there when it happened and had to experience that! We are constantly filling our breakfast bar and as large crowds and rushes come in it does mean that sometimes all of something is gone but we do our best to refill as quick as possible when we run back and forth from the breakfast room and the kitchen. Regardless, We are very sorry that you did not enjoy your stay and hope you reconsider coming back and maybe trying a cabin or a different room. We appreciate all feedback good or bad. We can learn from it!
