The room and facilities were immaculate, and the staff friendly and helpful. They even brought up a microwave, so we could reheat our leftovers from dinner the night before. The only complaint was that the coffee table legs had a thick layer of dust on the legs, which was shocking considering how clean the rest of the room was.

This is our third and probably final trip to Sun Mountain Lodge. It’s still a beautiful location, food was ok, a bit expensive, but the real issue is the rooms. Outdated yes, but how about just some touch up paint and clean them? Our room looked like it had not been dusted in a week and the curtains were filthy. A quart of paint and some trim touch up would go along ways. Also, walking back from the lodge two nights to our room is almost suicide. Our room was very nice size. We particularly appreciated the in m-room fireplace, though we spent most of our time by the fireplaces downstairs. Wish there was TV in the room, but not a big deal.
