"The room was gigantic and very clean. Had a polite and helpful staff. Was a wonderful experience, will definitely stay again."

"Motel was a bit hard to find even with GPS. It's at the far end of a winding commercial street, but there was no sign at the entrance to confirm that this was, in fact, Best Western. Otherwise, amenities and breakfast were fine, but the motel itself could use some renovations. In particular, the small indoor swimming pool was located just off the lobby area -- sort of like swimming in a fish bowl."

"Georgous, but pricey. Would have loved to go to the speakeasy on our first night but it was closed for a private event. Not open during 2nd night. Food in the basic restaurant was OK, but we found more economical options in d-town Roanoke across the bridge on 2nd night."

"The pictures of this property are misleading. They do not show that this is a motel with no indoor hallways. As a solo traveler I do not stay at motels. Had I known this I would not have booked here. The evening staff was pleasant but the morning person did not acknowledge my presence and was in the phone the entire time I was eating breakfast. The selection for breakfast was very minimal and there were no forks. I tried to ask for them but as stated before the staff would not make eye contact with me. The room was quiet, and the furnishings are new but the facility is old. The shower was disappointing as the water pressure was low and couldn’t get very hot water."
