"The room was fine, except the weird plug in the bathroom. It was only powered when the light was on. We had a night light, it would not work with the bathroom light off. Also, there was only one chair. The breakfast was subpar. There was hot water for the oatmeal, the air-pot for tea was not hot enough. The eggs was meh."

"Unique property. Check in was easy. It was abit of a walk from our room to the pool. The pool needed cleaned as the was sand and other debris in the bottom. The room and property was clean and was cozily decorated. There were glasses and silverware in the room to use at breakfast. Little view of the Lake and a nice deck to relax on."

"I enjoyed my stay here. The lobby and room were both clean and inviting. I didn’t use the pool but lots of others were enjoying it. Two minor concerns: Arriving after dark, I found the sign difficult to see and had to retrace my path; I was also given an “accessible” room which left very little counter space in the bathroom and didn’t have a lid on the toilet. Both small but annoying features which I’m sure are good for wheelchairs, but not so much for me. I’d recommend it though!"

"I was unhappy with the cottage I originally booked after 1 night. Not really knowing what it really was. The staff was super accommodating giving me more that expecting by far. The other cottage was over the top inside and outside views on the waterfront. It was a great fun time. They made us very happy. Also the breakfast was fabulous too."

"The Settlement Inn & Lavendar Spa is in Fish Creek, the heart of the Door County Peninsula, which made it easier to explore all the towns up and down the coast. Our room was attractive and comfortable. We had a gas fireplace in our room, which was wonderful on cool evenings. We made use of the small kitchen area and dining table for a glass of wine and late night snacks. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. The inn is on Hwy 42 but feels quiet and secluded. We hope to return to Settlement Inn sometime soon."
