"Staff were ALL super helpful, friendly and professional. I felt the staff really represented the hotel well. Check-in was easy and relatively quick. I used the gym and it was extremely clean, in good working order and water and towels were available. The gym is a good size for a hotel gym. The hotel is old and probably well overdue for a drastic renovation but it was clean and quiet. I would definitely stay here again!"

All staff in the facility were helpful.
The rooms , whilst renovated are a bit small and dated.

"Room had the shower in the main room. Beds were small twin beds. There was a large clump of black hair by the sink. I have brown hair and my wife had red. We used the Resteraunt and clearly stated my wife had a severe allergy to onions. She ordered a hamburger that came with onions. They said they would cook another. It did not come with onions but she took 2 bites and started to get sick. She went to the room and threw up. She felt better. Service was way slow and not attentive at all. Overall...

"I did not use the air-conditioning. I, therefore, cannot give an opinion.
The airport shuttle service was poor. There was no shuttle service available when I arrived at the shuttle terminal. I had to phone the Lodge. I was told that the shuttle had to be pre-booked. Since the booking for the accommodation was done through Expedia, I was not informed about the prerequisite for the shuttle service. "

"The Four Seasons Westcliff was our first stop upon arriving in South Africa, where we met up with family and friends who reside in Johannesburg.
We were warmly greeted at check-in by Precious the process was very smooth. Very much appreciated after flying for over 30 hours from California.
