"You will not be disappointed with what you see once you see inside the doors. Beautifully decorated and everything you need, but... it is more like a modular 4-apartment home / b&b - no ocean view, at the end of a dirt road (lots of dust), but a few deer met us as we unpacked. We were skeptical at first, yet pleasantly surprised with our stay. I highly recommend, so long as your expectations are set."

The staff was welcoming, the breakfast (mostly continental) delightful, the electric car charging easy, and of course, the location downtown bar harbor was perfect. Special thanks for the afternoon homemade cookies in the hallway, which made our day after a long hike."

"Afternoon tea and breakfast offerings were always-changing and unique. We enjoyed the privacy of our cottage room, but the community of the house and dining. Cottage Inn staff was all friendly and helpful! The proximity to everything was very convenient. The water pressure was incredible as well."

"The Inn is so cute and cozy. The wallpaper in living room and dining room is eye catching and makes it feel like a home. I stayed in Room 11 and the bed so comfortable and there was plenty of room. It had a detached bathroom right across the hallway which was your own. I would stay here again when I come back up to Bar Harbor! You can walk to the village center in about 20 minutes "

"The people who work there are so nice and very thoughtful of my experience. This was my first time traveling to Bar Harbor, and I felt very welcomed to the community. They gave me great recommendations on restaurants and places to visit. The room and bathroom were spotless (shout out to Bill!!!), and the breakfast and treat we so tasted and fun.
