"We only stayed for one night. The contact to the Premier Inn before our arrival was very good. When we arrived the receptionist was welcoming and very friendly!!! Just a different receptionist on the following morning wasn't really friendly. Otherwise we had a good experience with this hotel."

"As many have said, this is a dated hotel with a very 1970s feel. We stayed on a Friday night as we had an early flight the next day, and the car park was very busy (as was the bar, so we ended up eating in a side room). The food was actually pretty good. The rooms were fairly basic but comfortable, and we felt safe the whole time. It was a very short walk to the airport the next morning (I asked if they did wake-up phone calls and got a firm 'no'). "Location, 10 minutes from the airport was excellent. Although very close to the A1, the hotel is situated within green and leafy gardens. Our room, third floor looking over the car park, had countryside views and we could hear very little road noise even with the window open. Clean and comfortable room and good to have a shower separate from the bath. Reception and bar staff welcoming, helpful and very friendly throughout. "Basic hotel, but clean room and comfortable bed. Staff really friendly and helpful. Stay included breakfast, but limited really to takeaway style bags in which to take your choices to your room, or sit at small tables in reception. Would probably give it a miss if staying again. Location is in the middle of large industrial estate, so whilst its cheap, and ok just to put your head down for a night or two, it is limited in what it can offer to tourists."

"The food was excellent and the potions enormous. It was rather remote so you needed a car to visit Durham. The park and ride (Belmont) was excellent but you will need sat nav to find it.Uber was £19 to Durham. Most of the staff very friendly a couple not so but didn’t spoil our stay"
