"Stayed for one night. This was our third hotel during our trip to Maine, and it was by far our favorite. It was the cleanest and best maintained, and had the best and most comfortable beds. The A/C worked (without even making a racket!), no weird smells, super friendly proprietor, seamless check-in and checkout. Felt safe and snug and well rested and clean, all for a very affordable rate. Would stay again; would recommend to others."

"We were charged an extra $15 because we had a 3rd person that I had already disclosed in the booking and had already paid the extra taxes and fees for etc. The shower had no drain stop, just a wide open hole. The shower also had a bunch of little hairs on the wall as if someone had shaved recently and the shower wasn’t wiped down. All 3 of us slept terribly as well. "The room was clean and the bed comfy. Our only issue was with other guests. There was a truck parked directly outside our window, with its headlights on and music blaring for at least two hours - from 8-10pm. We called the front desk, but the music didn't stop until close to an hour after."

"Beautiful view from property. Super clean room and surroundings. Quiet. Staff available at all times. Asked for towels and coffee pods one morning and returned to room at 9:30pm to find these were not delivered. Called the # provided for after hours and these items were delivered in 3 minutes with sincere apologies and kindness. We will stay here again next time we visit Maine."

"Man at front desk was very nice to accommodate us needing a room on the main level without stairs for our elderly father. Place was clean but refrigerator did not work in one room and in the other it froze our items. Okay place to stay"

"The room was fine, but we hadn’t expected to have to walk up stairs to get to our room in a three floor facility. Although it was only a half flight, it was inconvenient. Also, breakfast was not included in the price. There was a good breakfast available near by."

"Great location, lots of history and character, and we enjoyed our stay overall. We had a room in the carriage house, and had a few issues with the TV not working, and the upstairs neighbor arriving and making plenty of noise at 1-2am, but the beds are comfy and the restaurant is excellent!"

"You could hear the people next to you + above clearly was ridiculous. Alarm was going off in the room at 6 AM and the guest was sleeping through it and didn’t shut it off until 645 woke us all up. The shower was strange and felt like you were gonna fall through the floor great location. The young girl at the desk was amazing but definitely would ask for the top floor not the middle floor. I need another vacation to rest from that night."
