"Our room was lovely if not a little noisy from the public outside as our room was located at the front. The noisy however did strip around midnight. The amenities at the hotel were great and the staff were very helpful, attentive and always smiling. It was our anniversary and they organised a balloon, bottle of sparkling wine and a Belgium waffle in our room on arrival. The honestly bar was a relaxing space. We would definitely visit again"

"Overall, I had a good stay. The hostel was clean and in a great central location, making it easy to get around. My only issue was that there was basically no air conditioning, and the rooms rely on open windows. It was fine during my visit, but I could see it getting very hot in warmer weather. Other than that, I would recommend staying here."

"A lovely, quirky place to stay! Really convenient for Ghent centre, with parking and EV charging. We were in the Captain’s cabin which was great for the three of us. Breakfast was very nice too. Only improvement would have been the shower room. The drain couldn’t keep up with the shower which meant you had to paddle about for a good while after anyone had a shower (the toilet was in there too!). "When I arrived the room key cards were malfunctioning. The host went above and beyond to make my check in and stay 5 stars with positivity and excellent communication. I was 30+ hours without sleep and in no mood, but the reception I received made this stay for me. You can't control when technology will fail you, but you can control how you handle it and this was handled with a standard of care I have not received in 5 star resorts. Thank you very much."
