Top Wrexham Hotel Reviews

The Halyard Liverpool, Vignette Collection by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Everything is immaculate. Great breakfast options. Easy to add late check out. Air conditioning was particularly helpful this trip during a heatwave."

The Lion Hotel Shrewsbury
6/10 Okay
"Parking was a nightmare."

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel and Spa Chester
8/10 Good
"Stay at Doubletree in Chester was very good. The room was very clean, bed was super comfy and it was very modern. The hotel décor, spa facilities, restaurant and bar area including the outside area and patio was well maintained. One particular Receptionist had no clue how to do her job whatsoever. The other Receptionist not too sure of her name, a younger girl was very pleasant and clearly knew how to do her job well. Two things needed to be improved, we tried to check in our room just after 3pm and it wasn't ready. We decided to go and have a drink on the patio as it was a very hot day, the clueless Receptionist wasn't very apologetic at this and tried to make out we were wrong, when in fact we were right that we could check in at 3pm as stated on the app!! It was extremely busy as we stayed over a Bank Holiday and clearly, the staff were not prepared for the amount of people who were staying, breakfast was very busy, tables weren't laid out, no clean cutlery on there or mug available, I had to ask a waitress fornsome for me and my husband. The breakfast was good quality and even better included in the price. The location of the hotel is ideal and central if wanting to explore Chester. Would certainly recommend and the welcome cookie was a nice added extra."

The Mill Hotel & Spa
8/10 Good
"The room was pretty much clean, not perfect but well maintained. The staff were so helpful and friendly. I enjoyed breakfast every morning and having the option to use the bar until late, this was particularly helpful when wanting a cold drink when I came in after a day of exploring. Helpfully close to the station and town, many places and sights within walking distance. Didn't get a chance to use the spa but would love to go back to try it. Overall great hotel and would definitely book again."

Maldron Hotel Liverpool City
10/10 Excellent
"Ideal location for Albert Docks as just a short walk away across the road and a 15 minute walk from Lime Street station. Hotel very clean, staff very helpful and breakfast was lovely. Would stay here again."

Hope Street Hotel
8/10 Good
"Pity about the £55 charge to use the pool and no parking. Otherwise, a great hotel."

The Queen at Chester Hotel, BW Premier Collection
6/10 Okay
"Hotel itself was nice but their was a wedding party that was making noise all hours of the morning up and down the lifts and through the halls and staff did nothing to limit this or offer any resolutions"

Hillcrest Liverpool Central
6/10 Okay
"It was OK, not worth the room for the money. My friend got a better room with Travel lodge for the same price. Staff were friendly. Near to city centre and easy access to amenities. Thank you 😊"

Moxy Chester
10/10 Excellent
"Wonderful location, with a clean, comfortable room and a fantastic shared space on the lower level."
