Just a shxx hole
Stayed there for two nights to seeing friend. It’s a kind of no choice and last minute decision. The other hotel in town just ripped off asking for £195 a night. Then have to put up with this cheap one. There’s no hot water and heating on the second night. No staff was around. Just gave up that bloody place. Never ever will stay again!

1 night stopover room clean tidy bedding clean , bed comfortable . It was a Front room so some noise from street till early hours . Kettle tea/ coffee and fresh milk provided . Bathroom shower “grotty “ needs re-siliconing and deep clean , cold water tap loose on pedestal in bathroom needs retaining nut tightening . Bedroom carpet needs cleaning .

Booked 2 doubles, got 1 double and one single - no refund offered, one room tv broken, took 2 days to fix, other door lock didn't work, so couldn't lock the room. Only way to contact someone was via a phone number, no active desk.

For one night it was fine. Not sure we would stay longer though. Host was lovely and fresh milk in the fridge was appreciated. But it was very hot with no airflow.

Welcoming characterful hotel
Nice welcome comfortable room. Good range of refreshments however no herbal/hot choc/ for bedtime. Lovely little gift of Christmas biscuits. Its a old building with the things that come with older buildings like a delay in hot water getting to taps. If too impatient to wait then book elsewhere. Yes the bathroom suit is tired but its clean and serviceable. We will return.

Welcoming & characterful.If want MODERN avoid
Welcoming a characterful. On arrival, reception closed and Sign on outside door advising to phone if no one at reception. Not complaining as we appreciate quiet season. Perhaps this info with the number to call could be included with info on confirmation. Likewise advisory where to park rather than need to move car. Room very comfortable. Amazing variety of drinks/biscuits. Although (Again not complaining) if like us you enjoy Ovaltine/chocolate at night this isnt included. This is a old building and as such has her imperfections and quirks and character that come with such. If you want flat floors and instant hot water and modern decor then go to a modern hotel. If not enjoy. I am 6 weeks post total knee replacement so was glad I advised them so didn't get room at top. If you have mobility issues its worth advising them. My only niggle is while my email was acknowledged on arrival, and we had first floor room (Room 5) it would have been reassuring to get confirmation recived prior to arrival

The best accommodation we have ever had. Thank you so much will return when we are in the area and need a hotel. Would definitely recommend anyone to book a stay there.

A Big Disappointment
It feels like a place that has been set up for some other purpose. Noisy footfall all evening. Grim concierge. A no pets policy (they call dogs 'pets') which is not made clear until arrival. Much of the premises is a Thai Restaurant - many disgruntled customers coming out of that flooded the entrance hall.

A great find in a little Norfolk market town, with a warm welcome from a friendly host, who also helped to find somewhere to eat at short notice. A spotless, large, and extremely comfortable room. Healthy snacks, water, and fresh milk in fridge. Exceptional value for money. A thoroughly memorable stay. Can't wait to return.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Townhouse, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was lovely and clean and bed was very comfortable. We stayed during extreme heatwave and fans were provided to try to ease the extreme heat. We would recommend this hotel and will stay ahain

Rubbish.
Absolute rubbish. No breakfast even though a restaurant was advertised. The room was a furnace with no air conditioning. The re was no lift which made access to the room on the top floor difficult with heavy bags and no service. The room was barely clean enough in a shabby un-looked after hotel. The fabric of the building was poor.

Last minute stay in Wymondham. Friendly host, who can tell yiu tbecbest places to eat and drink. Onsite Thai restaurant is good and excellent value. No breakfast but some healthy goodies in the room. Would definately stay again if in the area.

Great hotel. Some nice touches.
Very pleasant little hotel right in the heart of Wymondham. Next touches like a box of biscuits, fruit and milk and chocolate in the room. It was a hot day and they didn’t have air conditioning but there was a fan which kept the air moving.
