"To break up our flight from Honolulu to London we decided to spend 2 nights in Portland. Holiday Inn Express & Suites Portland Airport was perfect for our stay. We landed at PDX about 8 pm, contacted the hotel, the shuttle van was there within 10 minutes. Front desk staff, airport shuttle driver and the staff at the breakfast area were friendly and super helpful! The location was GREAT. The next morning we decided to take the MAX to downtown Portland, the Mt. Hood Ave station was less than a 3 minute walk from the hotel. On our return back to the hotel we decided to stop at the Cascade Shopping Plaza. The Cascade Station was the next station down the line from Mt. Hood. Instead of taking the MAX back we decided to walk back to the hotel. Depending on which store or restaurant you are at it's about a 10-15 minute walk back to the hotel. On our check out day, our flight left PDX at 7:30 pm and the BA check in desk didn't open until 4:30 pm. After checking out of the hotel we asked the front desk to hold our luggage which they gladly did. We took the MAX back to downtown Portland to do more exploring, got back to the hotel at 4 pm, got our bags, jumped on the airport shuttle and were at PDX in time to check in for our flight. We highly recommend staying here!"

"I was really impressed. For an airport hotel, it was lovely, and we felt cared for. The staff was professional, helpful, and communicative. The shuttle picked us up and dropped us off in a timely manner. There was a beautiful lake outside the window creating a serene atmosphere, and I appreciated the little details like extra towels in the room and earplugs."

"The resort is well built and cared for. We are so thrilled that it is open to the public again. The setting is serene and beautiful. Our room was ample size and well appointed. The bed was comfortable. You can’t beat the amenities. The hot tubs, pool and sauna were easily accessible and all offered relaxation and rejuvenation. The service at the restaurant was excellent. Our menu selections (salmon dinner and risotto) were delicious. Oh and the craft cocktails were so good. Every staff members were very friendly and helpful. One night there felt like a week’s vacation."

"So convenient in downtown Vancouver with easy, quick access to the trendy waterfront area and Columbia River walk. Can easily hop on the Highway 14 up the gorge for hikes and sight-seeing, as well as crossing the Columbia on I-5 to Portland and the cultural and recreational activities there."
