"I had a wonderful stay with my young teenage daughter. It waas one of our most memorable experiences during our first visit to Japan. We loved our room - Asumi A Western Room with Open Air Bath and a view of the majestic Mt Fuji. The grounds were beautiful. Dinner was great and we loved dining in our room. Breakfast was ok. "Cozy and picturesque. A lot of families with children. Really loved the views of the lake, the onsen, and the dinner. Staff was friendly, attentive, and fluent in English. Only downside is the location is not very convenient, it's about a 20 minute walk into town. There's sidewalks and the walk is pleasant, but the buses don't run very frequently, so keep that in mind if you won't have a car and are opposed to walking."
