"The property met our needs well. They gave excellent communication about our arrival questions eforehand. Things to be aware. It's down a very long drive so best use sat nav to locate the turning. There isn't a bar as far as we could tell. More guest house than hotel, which is fine. Its minimally staffed at the front desk so best to call ahead if youre arriving late. "My stay at the Holiday Inn was comfortable and pleasant overall. Everything was good, and I had a nice experience. The only issue I encountered was with the sofa bed, which wasn’t very comfortable—I could feel the hard surface while lying on it. Aside from that, everything else met my expectations. I would consider staying here again when needed."

"Only two staff trying to run hotel. Had to wait for a table then service, even though the restaurant only had a couple of people in it. As the girl couldn’t run everything, not her fault. Food was terrible and dry with brown coleslaw. The hotel didn’t seem that busy considering it was Easter weekend. Had the same problem I at the other Premiere Inn hotel in Exeter last year."

"The host, Chris, was so kind to pick me up from the bus station when I was unable to get a taxi, especially since it was raining. I had a problem with the TV as well as a leaking shower, but Chris fixed them both. The bed was clean and comfortable, as was the room. Great location, within easy walking distance to the centre of town, even in the rain! Breakfasts were so amazingly good, I tried a different menu each day and was never disappointed. "The location was great, though it was a bit hard to find as the entrance seemed to be at the back of the building. Our room was luxurious—everything we hoped for and more! The rooftop bar offered nice views and we enjoyed the continental breakfast at the restaurant for an additional charge. We’d definitely stay again."
