The hotel is clean, the staff are consistently friendly and welcoming, and the location is incredibly convenient—especially for those of us coming up from New York on Amtrak. "The customer service alone here makes me want to stay here time and time again! Every single staff member I dealt with at the front desk and on the phone was so kind and extremely pleasant to deal with. As a solo traveler, this also gave me a feeling of safety which I truly appreciate. The rooms may be slightly outdated, but was clean and comfortable for a one night stay. The mattress was a bit softer than I prefer, but the A/C ran great and I slept like a baby all night with zero disturbance....

"For the price this was a nice place to stay passing through Brattleboro. Everything was fine until an employee, without knocking, just unlocked our door and walked in at 10:40am and said “Check out”. Someone could have been dressing. We felt very rushed even though checkout was 11am. It took a lot of restraint to not verbally lay into the guy. Just make sure your extra locks are secured."
