"Lumara Lodge is in a beautiful setting. The garden is enchanting, and the host is super nice and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay, and their breakfast is simple and delicious. The room is a bit dated and could use a few touch-ups. Everything else is great. "

"Absolutely loved the property! Had amazing menu items for breakfast, lunch and dinner. My cabin was super cute and clean. It was so quiet that all I heard while lying in bed were howler monkeys, birds and tree frogs. The staff was so helpful and knew me by name. They even made me a sandwich for a hike I was going on for the day! Horseback riding was a blast and was reasonably priced. Wifi in the common area worked great. My only suggestions would be Wifi in the cabins and hot water but those are extremely minor details for me. The road was a bit rough to get there but that's just Costa Rica. Absolutely would highly recommend this property 100%. It was exactly what I needed, a break from everything!"
