"Lovely atmosphere great staff "

"It was very clean and the facilities were as described. We had a twin room. It was downstairs next to the front door but it was very quiet in the property. We weren’t disturbed. Good tea and coffee making facilities. Fridge and bottled water provided. Host was on hand when we checked in and explained everything we needed to know. Just stayed on night. Met our needs comfortably. Uber from Betty’s York area around £5 each way. It is walkable too. "

"A delightful place to stay in a great location with lovely hosts. A short 10-15 minute walk and you're in middle of town with all the sights. Breakfast consists of lots of fresh homemade options that are top notch. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with refreshments and amazing smelling toiletries. Would love to stay again. (The bar closed 10pm at the latest) Road works had just started on the street but as we were out during the day it didn't affect us. Always managed to get a parking slot on the street. If we were to suggest improvements it would be to have a couple of shelves in the bathroom and a light above the...

"The property was excellently situated just around the corner from the Minster. The rooms are well presented with everything you need and staff are very helpful. The pub down stairs is well stocked and a nice environment to be in. Jane was amazing and very generous on our arrival to take our bags in early so we could make the most of our time in York. The breakfast offer is great and the food was lovely, well cooked and great products. The cost of the breakfast offer was well priced and so worth...

"Comfortable stay in all. Room and amenities exceeded expectations. Note for those wanting to park, the car park is small. It’s understandable that this fills up, fortunately the convention centre opposite has affordable parking. Will stay again when visiting friends and family in Harrogate. "
