"Communication with staff started the day prior to our arrival via text.. check in was very friendly and helpful to give us a quick overview view of the resort and the Williamsburg local sites to see. We really liked the room had more of an apartment feel than a hotel room. The room was clean and fresh feeling. Bed slept well for both of us. One of us prefers softer and one more firm.. king size is the way to go. The amenities were worth taking extra time on the resort to enjoy. We played some billiards and a few video games. The pool and hot tub looked appealing but we left bathing suits at home. We would return.. for the reasons mentioned"

"The unit was a little dated but clean. The beds were comfortable. Quiet space except expect to hear the people above you. Nice check-in and check-out staff . She was super nice and inviting. And continued to check-in with us via text throughout our stay. The second welcome man was not so welcoming and he gave us what he called a “gift”which was a free local magazine. Friends of ours also stayed at the same location. They were offered a return visit at a discount. We were not. We were very happy with our stay."
