"The room was clean. Staff was available and helpful. No daily towel change unless requested. Hot tub and Spa is an extra cost - not included in the reservations (surprise to us)."
"A wonderful, clean, and spacious hotel near the park. We were given a large, updated room. The room had everything we needed. There was oxygen available on the premises, which was great. There were also bicycles, pools, and play areas. Everything was wonderful! I haven’t stayed at a hotel like this in America in a long time."
"Property was immense but everything went smoothly. Room was very convenient for visiting the park. The kitchenette was stocked nicely. Enjoyed the hot tub after hiking in the park."
"Cold water in our hotel restroom sink was turned off due to a leak. Only hot water was available for use. They offer free coffee in lounge but you have to purchase cups or bring your own. I think for the price you pay they should offer cups and have a working faucet. "
"Our room was well laid out, and had all the necessary amenities. No fancy carpeting, but the floors were probably cleaner. There was ample lighting. Our only complaint was that it was hard to plug in a CPAP machine, since the extra outlets were hidden behind the heavy queen-sized beds. There were plenty of outlets in other parts of the room. The shower was very good. Plenty of hot water.
The Keurig machine was welcome, and extra pods, tea bags, etc., were available in the office.
The staff (of one woman) was exceedingly helpful. She recommended two restaurants and suggested we check them out online--we chose the one right next door, which had excellent food and a friendly atmosphere.
All in all, we enjoyed our one-night stay. The location was convenient for sightseeing, too."
"Nice heated pool. The food was excellent at the restaurant and the lodge store had a big selection of food, drinks, and souvenirs. The balconies are a great place to relax. FYI, the lodge is 2.5 hours from the west and south entrances to Yosemite. The road is slow and curvy through the mountains. "
"It had everything you would expect from a 1 star motel. We had to travel to another location for check in (it was not communicated beforehand). The room was very dirty, stains everywhere. Toilet didn't flush properly. The room had a terrible smell. The air conditioning was very loud, probably technology of 50 years ago. The sheets and towels were very old. One of the towels was so old that it was ripped. The location was decent. 30 minutes drive from Yosemite Valley. So, if you want to pay 300+ USD for an OK location, this is your place. Otherwise, avoid it at all costs. I would never stay here again. "
"What an absolute gem! Originally I wanted to stay inside Yosemite, but this was so close that it didn't matter much. Cabin W9 is a perfect spot with views of the sunset from the balcony. Food options were great. Definitely would like a return trip."
