They even provided us with a portable heater because the weather was cold. The room was good size and very nicely decorated. The bed was king size and very comfortable. The shower was amazing! Everything in the room was on theme for the hotel, even the towels had the names and all the rooms were named after royalty. Located walking distance from everything in town. "

"Lake view room was great. Only downside not enough place to hang towels, clothes in bathroom. One towel rack was right beside the shower which makes everything wet. One rokm safe didnt work, but Overall we were happy with the say still."

"This is the first time we stayed in a 民宿 in Taiwan and we are glad that we made a good choice。 Laurel Villa is a well designed and well managed facility for travelers to get a good night sleep。 We enjoyed friendly reception once entering the 民宿. The room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was excellent with many varieties of tasty Taiwanese dishes. We especially appreciated the sunrise bike tour led by the owner, Mr. Wang, who is very knowledgeable about the history, geology, and ecology of Sun Moon Lake. He guided us to the best places for sunrise photography along bike paths of the lake. My whole family including two grandkids enjoyed his warm hospitality during our two-day stay at Laurel Villa during Christmas HOLIDAYs."
