The hotel was clean, comfortable and had a wonderful breakfast with fantastic views of the city. The staff was incredibly helpful. "Hotel Sagarnaga is in an excellent location right in the middle of all the action on Calle Sagarnaga. Our stay was smooth overall, featuring an easy check-in and check-out, reliable luggage storage, and a decent breakfast spread to start the day. The staff were friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. On the downside, the rooms were a little small and lack some basic amenities like a hairdryer, while the provided space heater felt a bit small as well. Additionally, while the staff did call us a taxi for the airport, they weren't very helpful with coordinating the transfer details which meant we had to organise our own transport instead. Overall, it is an okay option for a short stay."

"This hotel has been great value for money. Centrally located, safe to walk to and from. Close to El Prado, La Paz´s main venue. Breakfast is good, staff are very helpful, beds are comfortable and the shower in the morning is hot (pressure can be an issue). Persons with respiratory/mobility challenges may find Aspiazu and Guachaya (the two streets that lead to the Hotel) difficult as they are quite a steep uphill walk."
